# Robotitem

> Price comparison and search engine for robotics parts: sensors, motors,
> boards, mechanics, complete robots. 98,020 products from
> 1,176 brands across 12 suppliers, refreshed nightly.
> Every price is converted to euros, and the **delivered cost** — shipping, VAT
> and customs duty for non-EU sellers — is estimated per supplier, which
> frequently changes which offer is actually cheapest.

## What we publish, and what we do not

- We do **not** test products and publish **no reviews of our own**. Product
  descriptions and specifications are the suppliers' own words, reproduced as
  published.
- Ratings, where shown, are aggregated from the supplier that publishes them.
- Delivered cost is an **estimate** for a single item shipped to mainland
  France. Shipping assumptions per supplier are documented in the code; the
  seller's checkout is authoritative.
- Some outbound links are affiliate links. Ranking never takes commission into
  account: offers are sorted by VAT-normalised price, and a supplier without an
  affiliate programme is indexed exactly like the others. No affiliate
  identifier exists in the database — it is added at click time.
- Prices are re-checked nightly. Each product page states the date of the last
  check.
