Description
Material: Galvanized steel, tcone head hardened. The hydraulic cone grease nipple is the standardized connection point to the grease gun and protects the lubrication point from dirt and moisture. With self-sealing, metric tapered external thread to DIN 158. Screwable into regular, cylindrical internal threads or tapered tinternal threads like old standard. Commonly used in machines and vehicles, at bearings, bearing blocks, cardan shafts, drive shafts, linear guides and motion spindles. Mounting Instructions: According to DIN 158-1:1997, only the external thread is conical, while the internal thread is cylindrical. (Metric ISO thread DIN 13). According to the old DIN 158-1:1954, the internal and external threads are conical. In practice, it still happens that the conical internal thread is used according to the old standard.
