What this site does
Robotitem indexes robotics products from a handful of suppliers (RobotShop, Adafruit, Pololu, DigiKey, Farnell, TME, Mouser, Welectron), normalises their prices into euros, groups identical parts and lets you search across all of them at once.
We are not a shop. We take no orders, hold no stock, handle no payment and ship nothing. Every price, availability and specification shown here is data published by the seller and copied at the last catalogue sync — it can be out of date, and the seller's own page always prevails.
Affiliate links — how we are paid
Some outbound links carry an affiliate identifier. If you buy after following one, the seller may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.
Every outbound link goes through /go/{id}, which adds the affiliate identifier at the moment of the click and redirects you. No affiliate link is stored in our database, and the link shown to you is the seller's own URL.
Commission never influences results. Ranking is computed from text and semantic relevance, price, stock, specification match and click-through rate — the affiliate program is not one of the inputs, and there is no paid placement anywhere on this site.
Ranking parameters
Main parameters, in order of weight: match between your query and the product title, brand and description (full-text and vector similarity); match with the filters and specifications you asked for; availability; price; and past click-through rate for the same query.
Where several sellers list the same part, offers are grouped and the cheapest estimated landed cost is highlighted — including shipping, VAT and, for non-EU sellers, estimated customs duty. That estimate assumes a single item delivered to mainland France and is not a quote.
Reporting illegal or incorrect content
To report content you believe to be illegal, an incorrect price, a product that should not be listed, or an intellectual property infringement, write to the contact address above. Tell us the page URL and what is wrong; we will answer and, where the report is founded, remove or correct the listing.
Product titles, descriptions and images come from the suppliers' own APIs and remain the property of their owners. They are shown here to identify the product being compared.
