Unlike traditional square magnet motors, the Smoov ring magnets have no physical spacing between the magnets to allow for quick and easy removal of dirt, grime, or anything you can manage to get into them.Making a fully molded ring magnet with high magnetic flux density is at the heart of the design. NBD has developed a ring magnet that can hold up to N48SH levels! Ring magnets are typically used in camera gimbals because they need to operate silky smooth. Traditional gimbal motors are super smooth but they lack punch and power. The Smoov V2 motors have both, along with improved balancing and better performance.
