Le kit Mote de Pimoroni est livré avec 4 sticks RGB associés à un HUB USB pouvant être piloté via une carte Raspberry Pi ou un PC. Les exemples d'applications et les librairies Python sont disponibles gratuitement en téléchargement. Le module contrôleur USB comporte un port micro-USB supplémentaire autorisant le raccordement d'une alimentation externe. Cette alimentation permet d'augmenter légèrement la luminosité des Leds et n'est pas obligatoire.
